Draaaaaama! I love it. Check out this clip of Leo Laporte blowing up at TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington over a Palm Pre review unit. Let’s just say, he doesn’t even get to the actual review.
Arrington later took to his blog to apologize – and rebuttal.

Leo IS a cool customer. He’s always tooted his own horn about not accepting freebies, though. He makes a big deal out of it because he points back to that whenever someone questions his impartiality.
Is a demo unit (which, as stated, must be returned in 7 days) a freebie? I don’t think so. Is his reaction to Arrington appropriate? I dunno…I’d love to see the 20 or 30 minutes preceeding this incident.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Leo do something like this – however the Palm is…. I can’t be convinced of something that is designed directly to interact with their competition’s software – doesn’t seem very sensible to me.
Oh man, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Leo Laporte get that heated over anything.
