What can I say? I suck. I’ve un-installed and re-installed this blog so many times, I’m sure you’re more than a little confused. The good news is – it’s not going anywhere again. I’ll be tweaking the layout of course, but no more downtime and more regular posting I prooooomise! Your patience is highly appreciated.

P.S. The most recent four or five blogs that I wrote are missing and gone forever. Sorry!!! Found em!
P.S. A big shout out to media temple for being such a smokin’ hot host. For shizzle.
Hi to all past and new visitors. I’ve been trying to avoid the whole complicated mess of this “Ferarro” character snatching my photos, videos and blog posts and repurposing them as her own, but the whole thing is getting wildly out of hand. The traffic spike TechDarling is experiencing is welcome, but also prompting me to post some kind of a reply to all who are curious, so I’ll be posting something tonight.
To top it all off, it’ll be in video form, me in the flesh – further proof that I am not, was not, and never will be, Ferarro, and/or a World of Warcraft player/blogger.

If you have questions you want answered, or if there is any kind of proof I can supply to answer your conspiracy theories (i.e., we are the same person), please leave them as comments or e-mail me and I’ll try to answer them.
Until then…

Just a little disclaimer: I am currently in the process of importing and backdating all old TechDarling entries. If you notice a lack of content, broken links or missing images, please keep this in mind. All should be fixed up in the next couple of weeks, so thanks for your patience in the meantime.

I’ll also get this place lookin’ fly instead of all bland, BU-LEEVE me. It’ll almost look as good as this KaBLING ethernet cable I’m using to get this joint up and running.

Thanks in advance.
Sarah
As if we needed yet another way to proclaim to the world (or at least our family and friends) that we are in fact, geeks to the core.
Just in time for the holidays, Nigel’s Eco Store presents Christmas tree ornaments made from recycled CDs and circuit boards. They come in various designs – bells, stars, or Christmas trees. They’re kind of pricey ($6-$9), but I think it’s worth it. I mean if you’re into computers or technology, this is the perfect way to express that love during the holidays (besides of course, giving the gift of technology, but that can get kinda expensive.) Plus, they are made from recycled materials, which supposedly makes them “eco-friendly.”

They also make a great gift for that enthusiast in your life that is so hard to shop for. ‘Tis the season to be geeky!

Now that Halloween has come and gone in the blink of an eye, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas. What! Already?! Fall is going by FAR too quickly for my liking. I haven’t had nearly enough time to actually get out and enjoy it.
So for those of you who are chained to your laptops like me, you’ll appreciate this easy way not to miss the holiday spirit. It’s a USB Christmas tree!
Granted you celebrate Christmas, you’ll enjoy this lit-up miniature version of a Christmas tree, without ever having to miss a single e-mail, instant message, or blog post. I’ll tell you what this is. It’s a sick replacement for what was once a delightful icon of my favorite holiday. But now I’m all growns up, and this girls got work to do. Ahh, spreadsheets and holiday nostalgia. What more could you want??

It’s only about $20, (or ¬£9.95) available on UK site Gizoo.com .
